In an article about Natus Vincere’s CS:GO team member Ilya Zalutskiy, known as Perfecto, a Wikipedia edit was made that removed the mention of him being a Russian esports player. Instead, he was described simply as an esports player.

This information appeared on the internet encyclopedia. The edit was made by a Russian editor of esports pages on Wikipedia, Aidar Garifullin. He also added information that Zalutskiy had renounced the Russian flag. At the time of publication, these changes had not been verified.

On December 19, Zalutskiy changed the Russian flag to a neutral one in his profile on Liquipedia. In the current list of team players, he was described as “non-representing,” meaning “not representing any country.” Later, his teammate Perfecto, Denis Sharipov (known as electroNic), also asked Liquipedia authors to change the Russian flag to a neutral one in his profile.
