New Weapon Balance Changes and Fixes in Warzone on August 16, 2021.

In the latest weapon balance update for Warzone on August 16, 2021, SMGs took a significant hit, and many Modern Warfare (MW) weapons were inexplicably altered. In short, a lot of MW firearms were nerfed, but there were also some buffs.

Here are the fixes:

• Fixed issues with red doors, battle passes, and PPSh module icons.

Now, onto the weapon rebalance. The developers initially stated they were pleased with the weapon balance but hinted at more adjustments in the future.

• AS VAL: Reduced maximum damage from 30 to 27.
• Fennec: Increased bullet velocity by 13.6%.
• MP5 (MW): Reduced maximum damage from 34 to 31, decreased effective range by 5.4%, chest multiplier lowered from 1.1 to 1.
• OTs 9: Reduced aim-down-sight recoil.
• AMP 63: Reduced maximum damage from 33 to 31, secondary damage at 28, and minimum damage from 28 to 23.
• M19: Reduced maximum damage from 33 to 29, secondary damage from 28 to 25, and minimum damage from 23 to 20.
• Sykov (Sorokin): Reduced maximum damage from 27 to 24, secondary damage from 23 to 20, and minimum damage from 19 to 17.
