In this year, an exclusive game titled Marvelβs Spider-Man 2 is set to release on Sony Interactive Entertainmentβs PlayStation 5 in collaboration with Insomniac Games. Pre-orders for the game have already begun, and the developers have shared some intriguing details about their project. However, an unfortunate incident has occurred on the Insomniac Games support website.
Information regarding the supported languages for Marvelβs Spider-Man 2 has surfaced on the Insomniac Games support website. The game will feature full Russian localization, including translated text and voiceovers. This comes as a surprise, as just last year, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the suspension of all software and hardware shipments to Russia. Consequently, Russian gamers were not supposed to have access to Marvelβs Spider-Man 2. Nevertheless, the developers are creating a complete localization for this region, presumably in the hope of catering to the Russian-speaking audience. Sony Interactive Entertainmentβs behavior in this matter appears to be contradictory.
Marvelβs Spider-Man 2 will support over 20 languages, with full voice acting available in 9 languages. In Europe, the game will be accessible in 17 languages. Unfortunately, Ukrainian localization is not even provided in textual form. If you have an interest in gaming, Marvelβs Spider-Man 2 is worth your attention, especially if you speak Russian.
