FIFA 23 May Be Named EA Sports FC 23 Now.

The new installment of the FIFA game series may have a different name, as the game’s developers have run out of the license to use the FIFA title. Jeff Grubb, a reputable insider, reports that the football simulator will not renew its popular FIFA name and will come up with a new one.

Developers have been paying nearly 1 billion dollars to FIFA annually for the naming rights. The game developers believe that football fans will play the game regardless of the name, as the focus has always been on the gameplay itself. Therefore, the next installment, FIFA 23, might be named EA Sports FC.

While there are few details available about the new installment, there are already a couple of rumors:

The possibility of including a Women’s World Cup.
The addition of cross-platform gameplay.
Enhancement of player physics and movements to make them smoother and more realistic.
