Epic Games raised $36 million for humanitarian aid to Ukraine on the first day of sales of the new Fortnite season’s battle pass. The campaign will last for another 2 weeks.
The entire amount collected will be distributed among the international non-profit organization Direct Relief and three UN funds.
Epic Games concluded a charitable campaign in Fortnite to support Ukrainian refugees – approximately $144 million was collected from March 20 to April 3.
Microsoft also joined the campaign – the company directed all the commission it received from Fortnite purchases on Xbox from March 30 to April 3 towards this cause.
