Warzone 2.0 & Modern Warfare II season 1 patch note
The developers sincerely congratulate the players on the long-awaited event – the launch of the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which included the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and the brand new DMZ mode for the series.
They once again remind the audience that this season the game will be able to please fans of the franchise with a lot of exciting content, an important part of which will be the Battle Pass. You can see the roadmap for this season above.
According to representatives of the Infinity Ward studio, communication with the public on issues related to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be handled by Raven Software in the future, but this does not mean at all that the Ravens will be responsible for creating updates for the new part of the royal battle, so when they publish some patchnote, you should not be scared.
Anti-cheat system “RICOCHET”
The launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 comes with a built-in system to combat cheating, so, according to the developers, the chance of encountering cheaters during a match is minimal. Let’s hope so.
Battle Pass
A new era of “Call of Duty”, and, therefore, a new model for providing content to players. Now, instead of the usual linear progression system, you will have the freedom to choose the items you need from the battle pass. Unlocking the skin you want will become much easier, as now you are making a plan to achieve rewards, and these are not “empty” words.
The updated Battle Pass will be a vast map consisting of interconnected sectors, each of which contains five items. To open them, you will need certain pass tokens, which can be earned simply by playing any multiplayer mode from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, respectively.
Weapon
At the start of this season, the developers offer a fair selection of three new weapons, one of which is sure to suit your style of play. Do you want a mobile and fast-firing submachine gun? Then you should pay attention to BAS-P. Do you like to shoot from a sniper rifle at long distances? Please, Victus XMR will wait for the right moment in the kits section. Or maybe you prefer automatic rifles with a high level of recoil control? In this case, your choice is M13B.
In order to gain access to them, you just need to reach the required level of progress in this season’s Battle Pass and complete a certain task.
Progression
Now you can overcome the value of 55 levels, and thanks to this, get prestige rewards. The seasonal progression will not be reset.
New weapon
Victus XMR: Sniper Rifle
New free weapon unlocked with the Battle Pass. It is one of the awards of the “A15” sector.
According to the developers, this sniper rifle is by far the most long-range among those available in the game, so they believe that it will become a favorite on Al Masra.
BAS-P: Submachine gun
New free weapon unlocked with the Battle Pass. It is one of the awards of the “A6” sector.
The developers considered it unnecessary to tell anything about this submachine gun. Let’s stand in solidarity with them.

Reduced critical damage multiplier for heavy tanks (from 1.6 to 1.25)
The damage taken by a tank when hit by a PILA missile launcher has been reduced from 30% to 25%
The damage dealt to a vehicle when another vehicle explodes has been reduced (the percentage of this change depends on the type of vehicle)
Fix bugs
Fixed an issue that occurred when exiting RHIB.
Now, when you leave the RHIB, your operative stays in the boat. You will no longer be sent overboard when the boat is moving.
Fixed a “vehicle-on-vehicle” bug that caused vehicles to fly apart on collision, literally.
Fixed a problem with the car’s camera that appeared after repairing a wheel.

– For the first time in the history of Warzone, a third-person mode will appear. It will follow all the basic rules of the main version of the royal battle, however, despite this, the third-person view will give you a completely new feeling and, accordingly, the gaming experience. What works in normal mode in terms of tactics is most likely not feasible here due to more extensive visibility options.
The third-person mode will rotate weekly during the first season.
