What is Turbo mode in Dota 2?

I recently started playing Dota 2 and came across the “Turbo” mode. I don’t quite understand how it differs from the regular game mode. It seems to me that matches in this mode are faster, but I’m not sure how exactly this affects gameplay and strategy. I would like to understand the features and rules of this mode to better prepare for the game.
