I recently started playing CS2 and faced the problem of choosing maps to play. I want to understand which maps are in the top 10 and how to play them best. I’m trying to improve my skills, but the information on the internet is too scattered. I need advice to learn about the features of each map and strategies for team play.
In CS2, popular maps are considered to be: Mirage, Dust2, Inferno, Nuke, Overpass, Vertigo, Ancient, Train, Cache, and Anubis. To play effectively on these maps, follow the basic strategies:
1. Mirage: Control the center and use smokes at points A and B to deceive the opponent.
2. Dust2: Hold the long and control the middle for successful attacks on B.
3. Inferno: Use grenades to control the banana and take positions on A through the carpets.
4. Nuke: Control the upper and lower plant, use ventilation for quick movements.
5. Overpass: Maintain control over the long and short on B, use flashes to capture A.
6. Vertigo: Watch positions on the floors, use smokes to block visibility.
7. Ancient: Control the middle and use flashes to capture points.
8. Train: Use sniper positions and smoke grenades to capture plants.
9. Cache: Control the middle and use grenades to capture points A and B.
10. Anubis: Maintain control over the middle and use smokes and flashes to advance.
