Raven Software Removes Combat Helicopters Once Again

Ignoring the recent patch, Raven Software once again removed attack helicopters from their popular battle royale game, Call of Duty Warzone. The controversial vehicle was added to the game back in December of last year before being removed. In the March 31st patch, it was planned to bring them back into the game, but players quickly discovered that Raven Software hadn’t resolved the issue.
The problem with attack helicopters in Call of Duty Warzone stems from a glitch that makes it so players can make the helicopters invisible, allowing for more covert movement across the map. Even more problematic is that the helicopters are armed with mini-guns, allowing players to deal significant damage while remaining invisible when the glitch triggers. Such bugs can be highly disruptive to gameplay.
After fans learned about this issue, Raven Software took to their official Twitter to announce that they are once again removing the variant with the miniguns.

The attached Trello link to the message shows that this issue is currently under investigation. Hopefully, the Raven Software team can swiftly address the problem so the vehicle can finally be available to players after several months of waiting. Call of Duty Warzone has endured several months of turbulence with the invisibility glitch of the attack helicopter alongside much more severe glitches affecting gameplay.
In addition to the re-introduction of the attack helicopter, the patch also included several balance updates and bug fixes. You can view the full patch notes here.
Call of Duty Warzone is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
