Launch of Android 14 – initially exclusive to Pixel, from Pixel 4a 5G to Pixel Fold

The advent of Android 14 has been a long-awaited event for Pixel device owners. Initially, the new OS will be exclusively available for the Pixel lineup, starting from the model Pixel 4a 5G to Pixel Fold.

The silent mode icon in the top panel has been updated for quicker and more convenient sound mode toggling.

Improvements in Drag’n’Drop Functionality

The update brought improvements to the Drag’n’Drop functionality, now you can easily drag a photo to another app while holding it with your finger, becoming truly handy, reminiscent of the iOS functionality.

Flash Notifications

Now with the arrival of push notifications, the screen or flashlight can blink, improving the visual perception of notifications.

Support for Ultra HDR

The added support for Ultra HDR enhances the display quality of photos. Now such photos are displayed correctly, and they can be easily edited right on the device.
