How to get gems in Dota 2?

Gems can be obtained by opening treasure chests or purchasing a set that already has a gem installed. Gems can also be obtained by extracting them from items using an Artificer’s Hammer or Master Artificer’s Hammer. There is also a special Locked Gemstone Cache, which can be opened to obtain gems.
