Release Date

Square Enix has not confirmed the exact release date for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, except for “2022.”

It’s quite possible that we won’t hear anything new about the game until the actual release date approaches, although we currently have no release timeframe for the game other than sometime in this calendar year. We will update this page as soon as Square Enix confirms the official release date for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis!

Gameplay

Square Enix has confirmed that the new game will feature the Active Time Battle system, similar in scale to the original game.

After the release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake, there was a significant divide among players as the battle system in it resembled more of Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy 15, leaving behind the turn-based system that was the foundation of the classic PSOne game. We hope this will please fans of the classic FFVII who want to return to the role-playing style of classic Final Fantasy games.

Platforms

Currently, Final Fantasy Ever Crisis will only be available on mobile devices, and Android and iOS players will be able to enjoy the game. It’s quite possible that players may also be able to emulate the game on PC using Bluestacks.
