After reducing the magazine, analysts found that the AWP now reloads 3 times more often

SCOPE.GG published the results of their study comparing the frequency of AWP sniper rifle reloads before and after reducing the magazine from ten to five rounds. Based on the analysis of half a million matches in matchmaking it turned out that snipers began to reload the AWP three times more often.

According to the results, the average AWP reload rate for 10 rounds increased from 0.4 to 1.2 times after reducing the number of rounds in the magazine. This result is shown in an infographic that shows separate data for each of the ten most popular maps in competitive mode.

The recently released update for AWP implemented only one change: halving the number of rounds in the magazine. This update was released on November 19.
