A Sandy Map Will Be Introduced in Call of Duty: Warzone

Today it became known that a new sandy map will soon appear in the game Call of Duty: Warzone. Developers announced this on their Twitter account.

You can also see below the first screenshots of the new Warzone map. The entire map is designed as a sandy storm, where teams in gas masks will battle each other. The release date for the new sandy map in Warzone is unknown, but it’s clear that it’s still under development, meaning it won’t be out anytime soon.

A mod in our discord made me aware that Urzikstan seems to have a stagnant sand storm surrounding it.

While we believe this new map won’t be coming to #warzone soon, it is still a possibility that the new “circle” will be a sandstorm instead of “gas.”

Previously, developers also mentioned that they want to make Warzone a permanent part of all future Call of Duty games. The studio director notes that connecting this popular element with other parts of the franchise will attract more players to the “royal battle” of Warzone and other game segments.

Despite the popularity of Call of Duty Mobile, Activision doesn’t plan to slow down its annual premium game releases for Warzone. On the contrary, they aim to change the content and enhance its release.
