The authors of The Day Before were suspected of plagiarizing Call of Duty

Scandal surrounding Russian studio Fntastic: accused of plagiarizing Call of Duty! And that’s not all – user Chromastone10 accused the studio of plagiarism, copying scenes from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War trailer into The Day Before gameplay. Lighting, character positions, even scene plots are all copied.

The Fntastic team presented the gameplay, which disappointed the players and led to further accusations of plagiarism. User Chromastone10 said that the developers have simply copied the scenes from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

In addition, users remembered that The Day Before was already accused of similarities with Snowrunner, Resident Evil 2 and The Division. The game was supposed to be released on March 1, 2023, but the release was postponed until November 10 because of rights issues. Also, the game has temporarily disappeared from the Steam platform.
