G2 Esports wins BLAST Premier: World Final 2022

G2 Esports defeated Team Liquid 2-0 (16-7 on Inferno and 16-12 on Mirage) in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 on CS:GO. G2 Esports players earned $500,000, while Team Liquid players earned $250,000.

Both teams made the playoffs from Group A, finishing in 2nd-3rd place. On their way to the final, G2 Esports defeated Team Vitality and FaZe Clan.

BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 was held December 14-18 in Abu Dhabi. Participants played for the prize fund of one million dollars. See the report for team lineups.

The distribution of the prize money is as follows:

• 1st place: G2 Esports – $500,000.;
• 2nd place: Team Liquid – $250k.;
• Places 3-4: FaZe Clan, OG – $85k each.;
• 5-6 places: Team Vitality, Natus Vincere – $25 thousand each.;
• Places 7-8: Virtus.pro, Heroic – $15k each.
