Invite – a message is sent to a player who should be invited to play together;
S1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 – represent the hero selection time;
Pick – the stage of the game where heroes are chosen;
Ban – a hero is prohibited from being chosen;
Meta – heroes frequently used in rankings, typically the strongest ones that provide great benefit to the game;
ADC – denotes players dealing the primary damage in the match;
Assassin – a hero with high mobility and incredible damage;
Tank – a hero of the tank class with a lot of health and armor;
Damage – refers to dealing damage;
Def – relates to defense and usually implies that allies should help deal with enemies or protect a tower.
Among the common terms, it’s worth noting:
KDA – a player’s efficiency indicator showing the number of kills. You can view it by going to the profile, selecting the battlefield, and checking the details to see your own indicator;
Win rate – a percentage indicating wins. There is also a separate statistic for each hero’s account. The higher the rate, the more chances to win when selecting a specific hero;
Stun – an ability that immobilizes an opponent and prevents them from using their skills;
Push – refers to attacking enemy towers;
Perk – an additional bonus from emblem levels, which can be obtained at levels 20, 30, and 40;
Achievement – a task used to communicate conditions that need to be met in a match to allies;
MVP – what a player who contributed the most to the team receives;
Disable – abilities that slow down or restrict an enemy’s movement;
Buff – a positive effect applied to a hero from killing jungle monsters, items, or abilities;
Spell – an additional ability located under the preparation tab, found by selecting battle spells;
Skill – the same as an ability but refers exclusively to a hero’s skills;
Cooldown – denotes the time for an ability to recharge, used during the game to inform allies that the hero is not available due to cooldown;
Farm – killing jungle monsters, heroes, and creeps, indicating the hero’s gold level.
