Chernobylite Guide – where to find a pistol, shotgun, and AK-47.

Living without reliable weapons in the zone is impossible. The player’s journey starts at an abandoned base, and the equipment will be scarce. To gather valuable resources in sufficient quantities, one needs to explore the exclusion zone and find out how many allies are available.

In Chernobylite, players can move around any location at their own pace. Along the way, well-hidden items can be discovered. A gas mask can be obtained even before it’s given during the game. Players will have access to 5 types of weapons, but not all at once. First, the weapons need to be found, and then everything must be done to be able to craft them.

Before players learn to build advanced guns, they will have to use and upgrade the available weapons. After some time, crafting weapons will become possible, but it’s not at the beginning of the journey. A revolver will be found in one of the first missions from Mikhail.

Players will head to the NAR building, where they need to hack a server, and upon completing the mission, a reward will be a box with two pistols and three boxes of ammo. Meanwhile, a shotgun is located in a special hideout of Tarakan, lying simply on the stairs. An assault rifle can be found in the hospital in the exclusion zone. Knowing these hidden spots, a player won’t be left without a weapon, increasing their chances of survival.
