Morgenshtern* watches OXXXYMIRON* – THE STORY OF ALISHER (Morgenshtern RIP)

Russian rapper Morgenshtern challenged his colleague Miron Fedorov (aka Oxxxymiron) to a rap battle in a post on Instagram. He thanked Fedorov for his recent track “The Story of Alisher (Morgenshtern RIP)” and suggested he revive the battles genre, which he said Fedorov is “the father.”

Morgenshtern said: “Go out there, try to win the clown. Will it work? What do you think? Let’s give it a try.” Note that the company Meta, which owns Instagram, was recognized in Russia as extremist and banned.

Oxxymiron recorded a song and video in response to rapper Morgenstern’s diss “I killed Mark.” In the lyrics, he accused Morgenstern of going back to making parodies of the songs of other artists with whom he began his career due to a lack of new hits. The song also made taunts about Morgenstern’s habit of being photographed with a naked torso, his taste in fashion, and his desire to return to Russia from Dubai.
