Caldera Map: What Was It Supposed to Be?

Caldera isn’t what it was supposed to be! And yet, the map hasn’t been released yet. Observant players have noticed that the version of the map we see in “Secrets of the Pacific” differs from what we’ll get based on the official image.

By the way, let me remind you that back in April, we were told that the map would be about 1/3 larger than Verdansk, but now they officially say it’s roughly the size of Verdansk. Insiders who have seen it say the map is either a third larger or even half larger. But I think if that were the case, they would have used this information in marketing.

Perhaps the map feels larger due to its mountainous terrain.
