Activision Blizzard has once again postponed the releases of its projects, and it’s not hard to see why. The ongoing scandal surrounding the company is gaining momentum, and they’re struggling to meet 2022 deadlines, especially for Overwatch 2.
Today, an insider-affiliated streamer hinted that the multiplayer shooter might be pushed to another year. The development cycle for the game seems to be stretching beyond the company’s current timeframe, making a delay unsurprising.
In addition to Overwatch 2, there’s also COD slated for releases in both 2021 and 2022. Activision Blizzard had previously rescheduled Overwatch 2 for a February release in 2022. However, recent reports suggest the game has progressed to a stage where all developments are complete.
