Vanguard Announcement in Warzone

Here’s the lowdown on everything we know about the Vanguard event announcement in Warzone so far.

Storyline

Rumors and game files suggest that the whole shebang will revolve around a German armored train chugging through Verdansk. Yep, you heard that right. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: blow that train to smithereens.

Transport

The screenshot above hints that all in-game transport will sport a unique skin for the event’s duration. My gut says it’s just a skin, but hey, who knows? Maybe we’re in for some model tweaks.

Missions

Ambush, bomb, map, and stash. Sounds like a grocery list for some covert ops, doesn’t it?

Prizes

RPD skin, watches, and graffiti. It’s like a loot box, only without the RNG.

My Two Cents

Judging by the missions, we might get a full reskin of a Verdansk area, set between 1941-45, complete with all the wartime charm—read: destruction and conquest.

Date

Most likely dropping in August, with whispers pointing to the 24th or 25th.
