Microsoft has announced that the PC Game Pass game catalog will be available on the NVIDIA GeForce Now cloud service. This means that any user will be able to play any game from the catalog on any device supporting GeForce Now, including low-spec PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, mobile devices, and TVs. According to Joe Scrubbles, the editor-in-chief of Xbox Wire, this will be implemented in the coming months.

Although not all games from the catalog will be available for streaming, GeForce Now users will be able to choose select games from the library. Moreover, PC Game Pass owners will be able to play in the cloud using the performance of an RTX 4080, which significantly surpasses the performance offering of Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming.

This became possible thanks to a decade-long agreement between Microsoft and NVIDIA on licensing Xbox games for PCs on GeForce Now. This is also related to Microsoft’s planned acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which may lead to access to games from this company on the service.

Thus, for gaming enthusiasts, this is excellent news as they can play their favorite games on any device using the GeForce Now cloud service.
