Fortnite v17.00: Alien Invasion
In the past few weeks of Season 6, developers teased players with an alien invasion of the island by alien creatures. Mysterious circles appeared on the island’s fields, and UFOs could be seen in the sky. These UFOs didn’t just maneuver in the air but also teleported characters to random locations. Furthermore, the alien creatures positioned their Mothership above the Fortnite island. They also collected various items found on the island (presumably, analyzing and studying them).
And now for the most exciting part. In the updated Fortnite (Chapter 2 Season 7), players can take control of alien ships, similar to the ones that previously abducted them. So, your character can now fly on UFOs, snatch them from opponents, heal group members, and, most importantly, deal significant damage to enemies using UFOs.
Superman with a Crossover, Rick and Morty
Epic Games is known for its partnerships with many reputable brands and often integrates their real-world solutions into the virtual world of Fortnite. This was especially evident in Season 4 when the battle pass was entirely dedicated to Marvel.
