New $100,000 Warzone Tournament

There’s a new $100,000 Warzone tournament, and it’s unexpected.

Why unexpected?

• Tournaments are cool, but they’re usually done in collaboration with someone. Like there’s no EA Apex tournament. And here right after the big one there’s a smaller one also from Activision.
• It’s a CDL tournament, nothing prevented them from branding it as the new World Series of Warzone, they did that last year
• Obviously it attracts people and generates views, but then why haven’t they done that the rest of the time?

Tournament:

$100,000 prize pool, Fortune’s Keep. Open qualifying, but only North America. Triples.
