Let’s close the question of Gowst’s face. It’s really the face of the actor who plays Gowst, but he’s only needed for motion capture, Gowst is voiced by another actor.
So it’s not some future skin with a face like it was with Rose, the mask is part of the character and I don’t think it will ever come off, he’s supposed to be mysterious like Kakashi in Naruto, so we haven’t really seen anything.
