Chinese esports player Sylar “fy” Lin Sen shared his story about how he failed to make it into the Chinese Dota 2 national team for the Asian Games due to unsuccessful testing. In his tweet on CN Dota In A Nutshell, fy revealed that he didn’t score enough points in the test to secure a spot on the team. His deficiency in communication skills was the primary reason for his setback. Surprisingly, Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi also didn’t pass the testing phase and couldn’t even make it through the interview.
The Asian Games of 2023 for Dota 2 will take place in China from September 23 to October 8. The championship is organized by Perfect World, the Olympic Council of Asia, and the Asian Esports Federation. The preliminary stage will be held in Macau, where roster placements for the Asian Games will be determined.
