Dota 2: Bug with Identical Heroes

A serious bug has been discovered in the updated Turbo mode of Dota 2, allowing players on one team to use two identical heroes.

The bug appeared accidentally in one of the matches; it seems that players from the same group wanted to swap Magnus for Anti-Mage, but both ended up with the same hero. The bug can be intentionally triggered, but it seems to work only in certain cases.

Fixed, no longer works.

Last night, Dota 2 received the “Reckoning” update, including a small balance patch 7.32e, the addition of a new hero named Muerte, and a thematic mini-event with cosmetic rewards. The Turbo mode was also updated.

Valve has also promised a more extensive gameplay update along with patch 7.33 at the end of April.
